WHY THALASSEMIA

Thalassemia remains a hidden threat, as societal misconceptions and fears surrounding the disease deter individuals from seeking testing. This reluctance fosters an environment where the disease can spread unnoticed. Our initiative aims to illuminate the realities of thalassemia and promote awareness within the community. It is imperative that we strive towards a future free from the burden of this condition.

WHAT WE DO

Ichapur Swapnapuran Society has initiated a new project named Uraan aimed at raising awareness about Thalassemia. This initiative has led to a notable increase in the willingness to undergo Thalassemia testing prior to marriage. To further this cause, the organization is actively conducting seminars across various colleges to enhance public understanding of the condition.
